Hello! 1990 1.6 HF

Hello from Poland!

I have a 1990 "HF Rallye turbo kat" Delta I. It was my first car that I have bought in 2010 and I never stopped loving- It's my pride and joy sience then.

But as time flies the car became old, grumpy and bit of an unicorn in here. Some crucial parts are not avaiable anymore. I am prepearing during winter to get her ready for summer roadtrip- hoping for trip to Torino. Maybe Italian Delta enthusiasts could help me achieve this?

Sure! Let me just gain a few post of activity before I'll be able to do so. For now I'll include a few here.

This is back in 2012, when local Fiat&Lancia dealer offered brand new MK3 Deltas- I was allowed to do picture with mine.

Here's the Delta as it stands today, though I got repaired set of Cromodoras & original grill as spare- the white one is a bit of a story in itself back when I bought the car. On the second plan- my daily & Thema I am restoring.

For now, sience it's snowing I sheduled a gearbox restoration in classic car repair shop- I'll dismantle and send it for restoration. I'm working on brakes&suspension& leaks myself.

And that's when I was told there are no front 257/51 brake rotors to be found anywhere...

Another issue that I'm stuck with is steel coolant pipe, behind the engine that is bolted directly to water pump- it is rust pitted so badly that I had to silver-solder holes in it. And of course they constantly reappear sience there is no good metal there anymore.

Sadly I am stuck with repair. My exhaust manifold has a crack. I bought one from Ebay but sadly it was dropped during shipping- smashed to 2 pieces. I cannot find any for sale now. If anyone has a manifold for 1.6HF number 7547932 for sale and will ship to Poland please contact me.
